Xiao, the conqueror of demons is a DPS character who is essentially the definition of a glass cannon. He hits very hard as his health ticks away over the course of his elemental burst. This makes his build pretty straight forward. He deals Anemo DMG through his elemental skill and burst, which causes Swirl DMG.

Viridescent Venerer 2 Piece Set: Anemo DMG Bonus +15%
This 2-piece combo will allow Xiao to benefit from his Anemo DMG and his overall DPS potential while his skills are on cool-down. Having a 4-peice bonus from either of these sets is not recommended, as Xiao won’t be utilizing his full DMG potential. Viridescent Venerer can be farmed at the “Valley of Remembrance” domain. Unfortunately gladiator’s finale can only be obtained via boss drops at this time.
Artifact Stat Recommendations
ATK% / Anemo DMG Bonus / CRIT DMG / CRIT Rate / Energy Recharge The ideal artifact set would have ATK% on the Sands piece, Anemo DMG Bonus on the Goblet, and either CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG on the Circlet. The best sub stats would be the aforementioned and Energy Recharge. One of Xiao’s most important artifact stats is Anemo DMG Bonus, since both of his elemental skills utilize it. Xiao gains CRIT Rate naturally as he levels up, up to 24.2% by level 90. Therefore players can focus more on stats such as ATK% and CRIT DMG. If Xiao has another Anemo character in his party, then energy recharge stats are not an absolute necessity, though without one then it will be most beneficial.
Recommended Weapons
Refinement 1: On hit, increases ATK by 3.2% for 6s. Max 7 stacks. this effect can only occur once every 0.3s. While in possession of the maximum possible stacks, DMG dealt is increased by 12%.
Having both Xiao and the Primordial Jade Winged-Spear at level 90 will raise Xiao’s CRIT Rate to 46.3%. This will make it easier for him to CRIT and allow players to focus more on ATK% and CRIT DMG.
